Jigsaw!

During my first week of Technology in Education at Trinity Christian College we used a technique called the Jigsaw Method! This was my first time using this method, and I loved the way it was ran in my class! The way it was ran in my class was posted for all of us to see on our classrooms website. We were each individually assigned a number that corresponded to a specific website. We were then told to go and do as much research about this website as we could. We were given time in class to meet up with other people from the class that had the same number and website as us. Once we did as much researching as we could, we were given a name of a sporting team. Myself and 2 others in my class were given the same sporting team, which meant we were to get together to explain the website we had just learned about. When I met with my group, we spent time each individually going over our websites. I went step by step, showing my peers how to access the website and how to achieve certain tasks while on the website. I loved having this opportunity to show my group what I had been practicing. I really enjoyed being able to listen to my classmates as well as learn other ways to do things in our class! This was such a great opportunity to get to know one another and learn techniques in the classroom.
